Any idea which females might be a Trump-like candidate?

I don’t think any woman candidate could be Trump-like. I think only men can get away with that demeanor.
There is a thread on CC about upper and lower eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) and when I look at Carly Fiorina I think that hers seems overdone - how odd not to have any sign of an undereye circle or shadows.
Wonder if anyone remembers watching President Clinton’s attorney general Janet Reno on TV. She didn’t appear to spend any time on her appearance and supposedly someone in the TV press told her staff that they would not cover her if she didn’t wear any makeup - she needed to throw on some lip stick at least.
I don’t think men can get by with that demeanor, either, not for long. I think people tire of BS eventually, and at some point you actually need to know what you’re talking about.
I will tell you who looks great for her age - Gloria Borger CNN’s Chief Political Analyst. She has to be close to 65 and I think she looks about 45. IF she has had anything done, she picked the right doctor.
I think the key certainly is to look like you haven’t had anything done, even if you had all sorts of work.
Women television news analysts and reporters have to be good-looking. The ones who aren’t beautiful are quickly fired.
I can’t believe I’m saying this, for the first time in my life: Stay away from the candidates’ opinions and only focus on their appearance!
Hillary looked fantastic at the debate, BTW. While she was Secretary of State, she sometimes looked very tired and like she needed a good haircut.
Exactly, VeryHappy! Except we are allowed to talk about their demeanor, right? It’s all about how they look and how they say things, for this thread, and nothing about the substance of what they say.
No, a woman could never get away with the demeanor of DT. Unfortunately, his demeanor is woking just fine for him right now. I am absolutely shocked how many men in our social circle support him. Very educated men.
I actually think he looks pretty good for his age - he is 70.

Not appearance based (its radio!), Diane Rehm is energetic and SO sharp at 79! Just googled her photos, and she looks great, too.
Probably not a good idea to talk about demeanor, that could be political.
For example, calm, cool and collected could be considered skilled lying by some. Arrogant no nothing bravado could be considered straightforward, honest and confident by others. Can be rather controversial.
A friend of mine works on the hill as chief of staff for a congressman. She said Paul Ryan leads an exercise class every day, and runs as well. You can definitely tell which of our representatives work out and take care of themselves and which belly up to the bar for the happy hour specials.
I believe some people actually don’t internalize stress the way I do. If I was ever picked apart like any of these public figures I’d fall apart and not sleep a wink.
Another person who is very fortunate to have high resilience and good health is Queen Elizabeth.
Hillary doesn’t look at all to me like someone who’s had Botox. She does look like someone who has a truly excellent makeup artist, if you compare her appearance at the debate and at her testimony to some other recent photographs of her taken before she began her campaign. I also think that the fact that she’s put on some weight in the last decade or so helps her look younger. As for her energy, I’m almost a decade younger than she is, and I don’t have anything remotely close to her level of stamina. I might look a bit younger than my age (or so people say), but I don’t feel it, which is probably largely attributable to my chronic health issues. I wouldn’t last on her schedule for more than a week.
As for Joe Biden, I’m quite sure that he’s had work done. After all, isn’t he about the same age as Bernie Sanders, who looks at least a decade older? Joe could work in Hollywood, especially with that smile and those teeth. As for Trump, if he’s had work done, it wasn’t very good! To me, he always looks like he’s about to have a stroke or a heart attack, especially when he gets angry – his face is always such a bright red. Al Gore is another person who looks like he’s aged very badly and looks unhealthy to me, whether he’s had work done or not.
Carly Fiorina is 61? I would have guessed 10 years younger than that. Maybe she’s had plastic surgery? Or maybe a fit, non-sagging body goes along with a non-sagging face?
I agree that Bernie Sanders looks a lot older than Joe Biden.
I have no trouble believing that as secretary of state, HC did not have a makeup artist or hairdresser on those trips. Her hair was not styled and she had gray roots, and she was wearing no makeup and glasses. Once she had her hair in a ponytail and was criticized for it.
I remember reading that Paul Ryan does one of those extreme exercise programs, crossfit or something? He looks great.
I think Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is amazing.

I went looking at pictures of Hillary, found a plastic surgery site that guesses what may have been done and shows a before/after pic. All I can say is, I want that improvement. I don’t feel like my age.
