Hi guys~
Anyone knows when the application for hku actually starts?

Hey everyone!

I’ve just applied to HKU for MBBS 2012 entry - anyone else?
I also applied to HKUST for Sciences as well.

Does anybody know about the specifics of HKU’s new “fast track” thing?

[HKU :: Undergraduate Admissions](http://www0.hku.hk/admission/ug2011/3.htm)

I know this isnt exactly appropriate for this forum but…

Global Business in HKU, HKUST and CU
and whats the difference between gbus and ibgm (which is better too and why)
aaaaand also the rankings between hku and cu for ibgm?

hmm…

What on Hong Kong is the difference, which is better and why? (Reputation, career opportunities, exchange program etc )
Enlighten me… please ):

Not sure about the differences between the three schools but I know that HKU’s International Business and Global Management offers students to study in different countries each year. So first year you’re in Asia, second year in America, third year in Europe etc. I think that’s pretty awesome and will be an amazing experience! HKU is also partnered with great universities around the world should you choose to study abroad etc. Also, depending where you’re from - an education in HK is considerably cheaper than North America. Hope that helps!

Wow I feel so old now, but as somebody accepted from IBGM last year, I can tell you that I have never heard of the 1st year in Asia, 2nd year in US thing. However, this year’s class is going to Turkey. It’s a good program and a good school. That’s all I can say.

Also it’s a small program so everyone is very tight-knit and it’s a great community. Even though I didn’t go I still got to sort of know those people. They’re also really hard working and mostly from HK.

I said “offers students” - so obviously you don’t necessarily “have” to take part in studying abroad. You are, however, required to take at least a semester abroad but given the resources available to students, I would totally do it if I were bproawienr. Field trips are also a part of the program on top of the exchange programs. HKU’s website had indicated that you can study first year in Asia etc but it has since been removed - perhaps it was a mistake on their part? Don’t really know! :P

anyone know the chances of being admitted to LLB if its my second choice?

Hi there! Roughly how many words should a good personal statement be for HKU? Because the fast-track admissions application form did not state the word limit. I’m interested in the Bachelor of Arts program. Thank you in advance! :)

Hello everyone. I applied to HKUST’s 3-year program as a transfer student a week ago. I think I qualify for early decision. Has anyone here applied for early decision before? When can I expect to hear back from them? Thanks a lot!

Hey, can someone who study in HKU post his/her SAT scores? I really want to know what range of SAT is normally qualified for HKU?(business/law)

Your response is highly appreciated!

Wow I finished applying for both hku and hkust

do you mind posting ur SAT score? cuz I am trying to figure out what SAT score the admission is looking for.

A minimum of 2000 + Strong Scores in at least 2 APs

thank you sooo much!

who got the request for a telephone interview from Hkus faculty of enginneering??

Anyone applying to HKU and HKUST with GCE A-level scores?

Hey guys!
I have finished my A levels (CIE) in June and got AABB.
What are the chances of me getting HKU, HKUST, CUHK BBA???
