<p>Hi, Guys! Just received acceptance email from HKU this afternoon! However, it requires “Grade 4 or above in AP Calculus BC and AP Computer Science A” for enrollment Haven’t seen any AP Conditional offer before, at least to my experience… Maybe it’s because I didn’t take any AP in Grade 11. </p>
<p>Anyway. Haven’t heard from HKUST, and HKU demands reply before 26th, with a deposit of $10000 HKD…</p>
<p>Also I have offers from Vanderbilt and UCLA in hand, plus waitlists of Rice and WUSTL</p>
<p>So it’s really been a dilemma for me= = Any advice? Thank you!</p>

I submitted my application for HKU on 30th December… But I sent them an email explaining I might need the reply sooner, with the most circumlocution I could think of… Perhaps it helped, though I cannot be sure from their actually saying-nothing reply email. Maybe you can try it out too!</p>

Well actually UCLA isn’t that hard to get into… It accepted 21 students in our school this year! More than 20%, even 30%, considering many didn’t apply to it, I suppose.</p>

Im trying to apply for BBA Finance or BBA Genearl Business Management
My gpa is 3.45, which is quite low. But my SAT is 2200 and my SATII Math 2C 770, SAT II Chinese Listening 800. 5 for AP Chinese, 4 for AP macroecon, 4 for AP microecon, 5 for AP Psych, 2 for AP US History
Activities: VicePresident of club, officer of another club, 3years of soccer, internship at business company
What are my chances? My aim is HKUST… BBA Finance or Gneral B Management.</p>

Competition for UST, especially business program is quite intense… I doubt SAT alone won’t be the determiner. Last year a Korean girl who got 2330 on SAT got deferred by UST… And 2200 really means nothing nowadays, especially among Chinese… No offence.
Do more on your activities. Only a vice president and officer isn’t gonna be enough. And be prepared for your interview, which is assumed to be pretty important. Also if you can do more on your GPA, do more. HK universities are supposed to pay attention to GPAs…</p>

I have applied 6107 HKU dentistry since October 2011 under fast track.
But I still receive no reply.
I am a CUHK final year student major nutritional science.
My GPA is not good but 3.0X, it already allows me to be granted a 2:1 honor.
But my status is still under consideration.
The office told me they would give out offer in early May.
Does this mean I am already rejected?
Anyone share similar case to me??
