Has anybody received an offer already from HKU/HKUST? I start to worry as last year I failed to enter HKU, hopefully this time I will be more lucky…</p>
<p>are the entrance scholarships in the hk universities based on just your academic merit or does it include ec’s/comm service as well?</p>
<p>I applied in main round in HKU but I have not yet received an interview call. Some of my friends have received interview calls. Does that mean that I have been automatically rejected? I am greatly worried. What should I do?</p>

<p>You will know when you are rejected when you see your application status. You will be able to know your application status from 18 February.
I haven’t received an interview call too, I am also worried, because last year I failed to enter HKU. Should I try to pass for example IB, I mean international diploma, not only my national exams (in my case, Russian, like SAT or IB). Thanks if you answer.</p>

<p>I had my interview with hkust. Did anyone else have their interview through the likelive online service? The likelive interview i had was only 4 mins and it seems kinda short for an interview.</p>

What course did your friend that got the interview applied for?</p>
<p>@Ruben01 I am an IB student and missed HKU too last year because I didn’t meet the condition on the conditional offer (failed 1 point) So I take a gap year and took the SAT tests. If you have already finished IB like I do I would probably suggest you take some AP courses, as I heard HKU provides credit transfer for good AP results.

<p>hello bluetimberland!!..same is the case here …I was given a conditional offer and could not make it by 2 points!..have applied again after re giving my IB with a 2 points increase …the wait is killing!</p>
