<p>Hey guys what should I include in my HKU personal statement? Is HKU’s personal statement similar to that of UK or US? Thank you</p>
<p>I think it’s pretty like the supplement essay of American University. You should address two things in the statement: what do you want to major in and how does the specific program in HKU meet your needs.</p>

<p>the site says results for early round would come out by the end of december. no date specified so i guess we’ll have to play the waiting game.</p>
<p>I heard some business students have gotten their offers already from HKUST, (Dec. 17-19 ish)

<p>@lily9696 How do you learn that some students who applied to Business have got their offers? I don’t know anyone who gets acception from HKUST, no matter what program he or she applied to.

<p>I was in communication with hkust regarding my application submission problem and they told me to check my result on 31st of December. I will be notified by email though, they mentioned.
And tey also stated that if I don’t get any answer from them by that time, then I should wait as I will be considered in the regular application</p>

Most Universities usually wait till the last moment to do stuff. Just like us! Don’t lose hope.</p>

I have got my interview from CUHK, but heard nothing from HKUST.
I applied through AP stream, and I am from mainland China.
