I noticed too. He applied to Engineering and got a conditional offer for IB 34.</p>

<p>He got a conditional admission offer for 34 IB points and a conditional scholarship offer for 38 IB points. Damn >.< -_-</p>
<p>@tushar13895 - I think hardly anyone got through in the early round. There are a few post graduates who got their offers for M.Phil and Ph.Ds but that’s it. I have no idea what is going on. By this time last year, there were a lot of Indians who had received conditional admission from hkust. Damn I am becoming pessimistic.</p>
<p>God knows whats happening. I even tried to call’em up but they didn’t even pick up the phone. Think positive bro. Everything will be fine.</p>

<p>Hi guys! I am also applying to hkust I am an international student I had my interview 2 or 3 weeks ago and my ib predicted is 43 and still havent heard anything from them. I thought my profile would have been enough to get in during the early round 
quite dissapointed</p>

<p>As far as I know the hong kong government does provide scholarships for international students but I dont know about the local students.</p>
<p>Yeah… I am an Indian student… I know that the uni’s do provide scholarships on the basis of academic merit but I do not know about the scholarships from external organizations.</p>
<p>Guys ! I am really stressed about my admission into hkust, hku and cuhk… coz i have not been preparing for JEE and I rely on the admission to these three :’(
What do you all think my chances are?? I am an ISC student.
Class 9th- 3 1s and 7 2s
Class 10th- 4 1s and 3 2s
Class 11th- 1 1s and 4 2s
Class 12th- Sent an expected percentage of 95%… however am sure to obtain at least a % more than that… </p>
<p>Grade 1–> 90 to 99% (In class 10th, I obtained 99 in 2 subjects)
Grade 2–> 80 to 89% </p>

<p>So I did receive an email from hkust saying that my application would now be considered in the main round. Anyone received a similar email?
btw they are saying that my result would be available from March onward. This is just great.</p>
