@victoriamanda congrats on your offer from HKUST! It’s an equally good place and has it’s pros and cons but hey,it’s an amazing place to be. I know i won’t be worried about any other place if I got an offer from either HKU or HKUST.

@uniboundjamy !!! omg please help me. I am from Canada and applied around December 15th main round and still haven’t heard back. I tried calling them and I don’t know how I can talk to the admissions counselor since the automatic voice woman just guides through the whole thing it’s REALLY ANNOYING. okay this School is my first choice and I never got invited for interview but I am willing to do it… what should I do… :’(
i need to decide soon since all my other schools need my answer before May 1st… this is really irritating.

Hi. I also applied to HKU and HKUST. My 1st choice is science, 2nd choice is Bio-medical, and 3rd choice is Eng in science for HKU. Moreover, I chose science for 1st choice and Eng for 2nd choice for HKUST. I just want to know the average accepted score of SAT1,2, GPA, and AP to get into these majors.

I’d go with hkust. But then again, that’s just my opinion based on rankings and employer reputation. Go where you think you would like.

Hey guys, I have a pretty tough decision to make so if anyone can help me out, I would appreciate it.
I have gotten a conditional offer from both HKU and HKUST for the BSc program in biological sciences and also Ive gotten admission into the best institute for research in India ( IISc ). Which one do you think would be a better option for me? ( I’ve gotten a scholarship to study at IISc but no scholarship to study at either place in Hong Kong).
My plan is to do further postgraduate studies in US, and I’ve heard that IISc has a better recognition in that matter than HKUST or HKU.
