@aryanj123 tell me about how many such students are there at HKUST in the class of 2021! I really wanna know! As far as I know that the admissions were far more competitive this year than the other years

@kiosk171 I was talking about class of 2020,2019 or 2018 students maybe. Things don’t change much in an year or two. I even know a guy who submitted his app in late round and is currently studying in hku on full scholarship + waiver. And the people currently studying there have affirmed me that it doesn’t matter whether you’re ib or cbse or anything. What they wanna see is you not having wasted away your time in school.
Apps are evaluated on a rolling basis, so the later you apply, the tougher it will be.
@arrerrte I’ve done SAT/AP. I think I’ve been pushed to my second choice or maybe pushed off to main round. I’ll ask the admissions office. Have you got anything?
how many of you guys got an interview with HKU?
Maybe! My application was quite strong! I was applying to US Schools actually for need based aid so I had my application quite strong. My only mistake was applying late to HKUST! I actually submitted my application 3 minutes before the deadline was to expire! Haha
@aryanj123 did you get an interview with HKU? My app is still under consideration! I actually applied for Business programmes…
arre @kiosk171 chill out bro. Even if you haven’t received an offer about scholarship from them, you can still get one by scoring an outrageous figure in boards. And my interview with HKU is tomorrow but I don’t know what they’re gonna ask. I don’t have a problem with technical interviews but softskill based interviews get tricky sometimes.

@aryanj123 oh really? Then I’ll try my best. And good luck for your interview. Just be easy about it. It shouldn’t be too different from HKUST interview. I still am under consideration with HKU…
And yeah! I already did HKUST interview on 25th November. Got the offer on 28th December. But still no news from HKU 
@kiosk171 bro I think you’ll now be considered in the main round cause I’ve heard business people getting their offers for interview quite a long time ago, like maybe 2 weeks back. what about CUHK? heard anything from them?

What progamme have you applied to? I’m doing CBSE, and my applications under BSc and BBiomedSc are still under consideration. I’m losing my mind!
i applied to BBiomedSc and BSc but im under consideration as well! i havent heard of anyone who got an offer for the course yet. I think they are doing the business courses first…i hope haha
