I kept my first choice at hkust as science and second choice as engineering .I later changed my mind after submitting .If i get accepted , is it possible for me to select engineering instead of science ?
It is very unlikely that they will consider all your choices of school at the same time. That is, if you get in science, then you are in and they won’t bother to consider you as an engineering applicant. (honestly, I doubt that second choice option will really serve for anything) Also notice that, from what I’ve heard, admission for engineering is generally more competitive than for science.
But I guess by the time I reply to this thread, you should have already heard back from HKUST?
