Durmstrang- REJECTED
BeauxBatons- REJECTED
Salem Witch academy- ACCEPTED (But that’s a Community School…eugh)

HOGWARTS-…ACCEPTED!@@!@#!$@#$@#$@#$ JESUS F’ING CHRIST YES!!!

Stats: Made an O on my WAT
ECs: I am the founder of the Soda Poppers (We mix different liquids to make potions)
And the Junior Quidditch league (we had a problem getting the brooms at first, without our parents wondering where they misplaced them) I’ve also made an orphanage for baby owls.

I am Muggle born. On a cold dark night, I awoke to the sound of the trees rustling against my window. I looked out and saw a large black dog. I went outside and followed it into the forest. It led me to an ice pond. The ice broke and I fell in. I was struggling to reach the surface when all of a sudden I could breathe underwater. It was exhilarating. I got back to the surface and noticed a man with shaggy black hair and a cloak. He was holding some sort of fancy sword in his hand. He stared at me for a long moment. Then he yelled some profanity and walked off. He kept saying something about “Having to find another pond now,” or some stuff.

Harry Potter fans are weird.

I think this is cool
Probably cause I’m watching Harry potter 1 on tv though ( I haven’t seen past the 4th movie)

Hogwarts-Accepted!

Stats: I was home schooled prior to my Hogwarts acceptance. I did very well on the pre- N.E.W.T track.

EC’s: I played in a local Quidditch league. Some of the players in my league have been recruited by Hogwarts coaches. One of my friends was recruited last year to be a Seeker for Ravenclaw (they rigged the Sorting Hat, long story). Anyways, I play Keeper and was semi-recruited for my Quidditch skills. The Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff coaches both really liked me, and promised me a spot on the team if I got in. Though, I wasn’t formally recruited like my friend.

I also sing in a local choir. I’m the tenor section leader.

I’m the founder and president of my local MRA (Muggle Rights Association) and a member of the FWLUK (Future Wizard Leaders of the UK).

Muggle/Half blood/Pure Blood:I’m a Pure Blood. Both of my parents met at Hogwarts (legacy).

How you Found out you were a Wizard/Witch: I’ve always known! My parents were magical, and I have an older sister. The first time I used magic it was when I was trying to get a book near the top of a bookshelf. I could have gone and gotten a chair, but somehow I made the book fly into my hands. My parents were so proud!

Additional thoughts: I was very confident going into the admission process. I’m a legacy, semi-recruited athlete, and on the pre-N.E.W.T track. I’m very glad I have this opportunity.

You’re all 11?

I’m actually a Nymphadora.

I can make myself look 11;)

Love this thread! Haha, just saw the last movie yesterday. I cried! :P

Sent from my Vortex using CC App

^ You’re only like the 9th person to cry.

The only thing I hate about this potter fandom is that NOW people are reading the books cause its all popular now

PHUH. I WAS A POTTER-HEAD BEFORE IT WAS EVEN COOL TO LIKE HARRY POTTER

Decision: REJECTED I’m so disappointed. I THOUGHT I was special.
Stats: I got a 5 on AP Parseltongue which I took in 6th grade.
ECs: Snake charming, Potions, I also sing in a choir where we once sung the “Bubble Bubble Toil and Trouble” song.
Muggle/half-blood/pure-blood: Pure-blood… obvss, that’s why I can speak Parseltongue. He-who-must-not-be-named is my great uncle.
How you first realized you’re a wizard/witch: My mother told me to clean my room and somehow a tornado hit that eventually blew all of my stuff from the floor onto her.
Additional thoughts: Everyone would have hated me because I would have clearly ended up in Slytherin anyway… I bet I was rejected because my great uncle is now out of power. I’ll have fun at Pigfarts (MARS FTW).

Decision: ** Accepted **

stats: 4.0 Unweighted GPA, Valedictorian, level 4 witchcraft

ECs: 400+ hours of volunteering, 4 years of Model UN, 4 years of Band, Choir, Jazz Band,

Muggle/half-blood/pure-blood: Pure Blood

How you first realized you’re a wizard/witch: I watched some adult movies (if you know what I mean ) and I started to grow a broom under there.

additional thoughts: http://chzderp.files.■■■■■■■■■■■■■/2010/09/83b5950f-b377-425b-8bb5-e39725a52c58.jpg

I was REJECTED!!! I’m a Pure-Blood legacy, for 6 generations. Its not fair the muggle borns get accepted because of that, who cares if their underrepresented!!!

I applied ED to Hogwarts, got accepted with a full scholarship. They’re even covering the cost for my broom and I get a presidential owl.

Another time I found out that I was a Partial-Tongue, meaning I can talk to snacks.

It was very annoying at first, hearing your potato chips scream as you chew them. But them the screams of terror turned into…a symphony of bliss.

^Did you write that in your essays? Definitely a unique experience. I mean, how many people can speak Partial-Tongue?

^ I definately did.

The admissions officer invited me to his home and asked me if I could speak to sausages.
Perplexed I asked why. He said because it wouldn’t dance for him when he told it to and it won’t dance for his wife either. I said…now this is genius… I said… “Sure, I could talk to your sausage. But I have to furnish my new dorm at Hogwarts first.”
BAM!

HOOK

LINE

SINKARRRRR

Do you think being Muggle-born ( URM) will give me a leg up in admissions?

^Maybe

maaaybeeee10char

^Not anymore. Depends on the school. I mean, for Hogwarts they are changing the acceptance policy, so there’s no affirmative action. Sorry, looks like you’re gonna have to build up your application without the advantage. I recommend getting a spot at the Defense of Dark Arts department. I actually captured my own dementor, which really helped because I got a letter of recommendation from my mentor and got to put that on my resume.

^B.S. being muggle-born is an admissions boost. Like I said, I’m a pure-blood legacy, and I was flat out rejected. I bet some muggle-born took my rightful place.
