I know that I am doing something wrong. When I try to look up old threads on gap year, I get a message saying that gap is too short and it gives me threads with “year” listed. IS there a better term to use? I know that I have read numerous comments on here about various forms of gap years.

Google “gap year” site:talk.collegeconfidential.com

Equivalently, you could go to google, choose advanced search, enter “gap year” in the field exact phrase, enter “talk.collegeconfidetial.com” in the search within site of domain field.

Also, you could use the CC search engine and put “gap year” (with quotes) in the search titles field and choose “show results as posts.”

Thank you! Using the quotes made the difference. I knew that there were numerous threads on the subject so I didn’t want to start another one.
