Hi,
Does anyone know how transcripts are translated in high school?

I’m in a bit of a…blehh situation. I moved from Hong Kong to US a few months ago and not all my classes from HK have received credit. For example, I did IGCSE Chinese (a two year course) but in my US transcript I got credit for only one year of Chinese. -.- I’m supposed to be a senior, but for some reason I get to repeat so I’m a junior now.

Okayy, getting to my point: PE is mandatory for all four years of HS in HK, but since it is only graded for the freshman year my official transcript didn’t show that I did PE in both sophomore and junior year.

So, I need to do another year of PE to fulfil the US graduation requirement. -.- I know this is REALLY silly, but I don’t feel like doing PE everyday for a year especially since I’ve already fulfilled THAT requirement. If I get another copy of my official transcript showing that I did PE will I be able to receive credits for it when the transcript gets sent back to the school district to be reevaluated? I’ve noticed that for all years the maximum number of credits I got was 30, so maybe there is a maximum number of credits that can be transferred per year??

Haha, please don’t tell me to ‘suck it up and do PE, its not bad’ ;P

Help is very much appreciated :)
