How long do you take to read 100 pages

In a normal novel?

2 hours i think

I get distracted extremely easily. Probably 2~ish hours as well.

I read Brave New World (260 pg) and 1984 (300 pg) on Monday. It took about 3.5 hours.

both books in 3.5 hrs!

i think 2 hours too

about an hour

depends on the weather, what’s on tv… there are many factors

I’d say more than 1 but less than 1.5

Probably somewhere between an hour and an hour and a half…

good novel: around 1-2 hours, depending on the style of writing.

school-mandated books: 1 week, or more. I’m pretty sure the Scarlet Letter was around 100pgs, and it took me forever to finish it.

prob an hour maybe a little more depending on the book.

about 2 hours, cus I get distracted with like stupid things

I’m a slow reader, and like to absorb the most of the material I read, so I can take 2-3 hours.

I hate reading. We had to read two Novels my freshman year and didn’t read them. Luckily, I had the easiest English teacher in the world, who pulled her tests from Spark notes or other typical sites, lol.

It takes me a little over an hour to read 100 pages of a fairly decent prose style, but for more difficult styles, perhaps two hours. Since someone has mentioned Huxley’s Brave New World, you should try and read his Point Counter Point. It’s as brilliant as Brave New World, but the style of writing is far more dense. It takes me two minutes to read one page of Point Counter Point.

In a normal book, 2 hours. In the type of stuff I normally read, much longer, even more if I’m distracted.

It took me 20 minutes to read 10 pages in Razor’s edge. How do I read faster and understand at the same time?

I don’t know… Not very long. I read the 7th Harry Potter book in 7 hours and 37 minutes. The book was 759 pages, so it took me about…

1 hour and 2 minutes or so to read 100 pages. And that’s a high average, seeing as the further along and alter it got (I started at midnight, ended 7:37 a.m.) the slower I was reading. I read faaaast.

Or atleast try to.

I can read books pretty fast (fast for my usual speed…not you CC’ers with 20 Ap classes) if I’m rushed so about 1 hour and 20 minutes if i’m not rushed at all it’ll usually take me around 2 and a half hours lol :(. I get distracted…
