I created this thread so we can all have something to occupy our time with for March 10th by ranting on how long it takes for it to get here. How nervous/impatient/jittery/excited are you anyways? ;)

I’m insanely impatient and excited.
But in fact - not really nervous, at least right now.

I think we should just get off this site & think about our everyday busy lives!!
This site is driving me nuts, & I know I SHOULD get off & study for my upcoming 6 weeks tests, but I just can’t!

Oh, I have a question:

I know it’s super late, but which schools have integrated history & literature?
I know my previous school had it, and I loved it so much. I’m not sure if this would be humanities or even ancient civilizations… Do any of you know?

I’m counting down every morning and every night before I go to sleep. I even dreamed of a Rejection letter from my top-choice school and it was so sad…
Trying to keep myself calm but I’m still anxious. If this year is a rejection then I can probably take it easy since I went through the despair last year already. ;)

@tiger: I believe Lawrence Academy has that.
Most academic programs there are integration.

lalalalalallalal

I still have TONSSS of makeup work to do
![]()
of course, that’s not actually a GOOD thing in any context -_-

Tiger… I believe St. Paul’s has an integrated History and Literature program.

very, very nervous, excited, and jittery. i’m going to take a lot of sleeping pills when march rolls around, i won’t be able to sleep.

Yeah, it’s really hard to deal with the waiting. I need to really force myself to stop thinking about what I will do (ex. drama, meeting amazing people, ballet…) at BS. I mean, I don’t know if I will go next year or not!! I look at the viewbook every other day. It’s hard not to thing about boarding school. :)

Hotchkiss has integrated history and literature. My interviewer mentioned it to me.

nervious? I’m not that nervious, maybe when the date gets closer, but not now. Jittery? Not yet. Anxious? Very, I want them now. Impatient? Extremely, I wish I could fast forward time.

Playing video games is the fastest way to make time go by.

Wish I had time to do that. Using CC as much as I do is enough of a strain.

CC is like my fix! A fun way to waist time.

Incredibly nervous. Excited. Weirded out. I screamed at my mom for something silly because I’m stressed, then 20 minutes later I’m cheerfully watching survivor with her. Weird, yeah…

I’m not really nervous/overly excited/scared. I know I’ll get in somewhere. I know that I’ll harass every school I get accepted to with strongly worded letters if they don’t give my Financial Aid. I know that if I don’t get accepted anywhere I’ll be a complete failure with no hopes in life and will bawl my eyes out for weeks.

Nothing to worry about.

I’m incredibly impatient. School on the tenth is going to be utter torture. I’ve been taking lots of walks with my dog alone and with my mother, and getting out as much as I can. Some days I feel so stressed, and some days I’m hesitantly confident - it’s weird. It seems like the closer March 10th gets the slower the days are passing.

I think on the 9th everyone here is going to be a nightmare…maybe not outwardly but on the inside we’re going to be like, bouncing. Or I’m going to be at least, lol.

Good luck to everyone.

Lol March 9th starts my spring break, so I’ll probably be chillin somewhere and check when I think about it. Ill be nervous…but not stressed out of anything.

I’m not nervous or excited at all… now my parents (well, only my mom in particular) don’t want to send me so far away, so I probably won’t be going anywhere next year. But, it was a great experience. It’ll probably help me with college applications =)

I had a nightmare where I was at an interview at my top BS and I had to show my gardening skills to my interviewer. They were so terrible, she sent me an email one hour afterwards telling me I was banned from their admissions office. O_____O

I wish I could invent a time machine and go ahead of the time…

I have a time machine that can take you into the future and I can lease it for 45K/Yr for the next 4 years. Right now the early version of this machine can only take you into the future 50 years at a time. So while you may not be able to see what your admission letters will look like or what your BS experience is like, you will be able to see yourself in retirement probably on a beach in Aruba. Deal?

Pulsar, sure, that’s all right with me. I’m YellowUbi’s agent (PSSSST. JUST GO WITH IT.) But can I take a loan? In order to pay you back, I’m gonna have to pull a Back to the Future and bring back a book of sports winners in order to pay you back.
