How old is your school?

My high school is celebrating 50 years on its current site on Tuesday, but it was actually founded in 1642. It moved sites in 1905 and became co-ed a year later. In 1962 it was decided the site wasn’t big enough so the girls split off to a site in a neighbouring town, my current school
So I was wondering how old is your school? Is anyone at an older school than mine?

We celebrated 50 years last year. So 51.

My school was founded in 1810. So, 202.

School was established in 1958…I started out as a predominately black school and when desegregation in the 50s occurred it became the school for all the 9-12 graders in the area.

My.school is only 6 years old =O

Sent from my LS670 using CC

17 or 18 years. I’m not really sure. I think it was founded in the early 90s.

So mine is still the oldest  I’m suprised at how young some of them are though, most schools around here are at least 40 years old

Almost 181 years old.

My high school has been around for a really long time, but it’s been at it’s current site since 1952, so 60 years this year!

Mine’s 58 years old and is the oldest high school in the district.

Mine was built 90 years ago.

What the difference between established and founded? 1893 y’all!

This year is my school’s 100th year!

Seven years old. Fresh as they come, mang.

Some of your guys’ schools are older than my state.

Like 7 or 8.

13 years old

20-ish years.

Haha! My school used to be a detention facility/jail of some sort…If you saw punctures of my school it’s make sense :/

Some schools here are older than your country…
