The “Admission Status” is information provided by the academy. The program is responsible for Admission Status changes on the DoDMERB website. This information comes from the academies and ROTC.

My point is that - regardless of who makes the change in the website - the candidate deserves to be advised of admission status changes via the admissions department (or their MOC) rather than the DoDMERB website.

An MOC should not be making a phone call to advise a kid of an appointment only to have the kid tell him that he already knows via the DoDMERB website.

Likewise with rejections - candidates deserve to find out from admissions.

The USNA (and USMMA) needs to slow down the process of information to DoDMERB. West Point and AROTC (and AFA from what I hear) seem to have it right.
