<p>So Excited!! My DD received her acceptance tonight. Thank goodness because I believe in keeping promises and I’m not sure how long I could have lasted. I had resigned myself to the fact that she would just receive a letter on the 15th. My D is BEYOND excited. She wants me to mail in her deposit tomorrow. </p>

My DD told me tonight that she is happy she didn’t get the acceptance right away because this just made her appreciate it even more. She is so happy and if she’s happy I’m happy. ( I am able to separate myself from her in case you were wondering.) So cute, she already ordered a Tulane sweatshirt. She didn’t buy one when we were there because she thought it was bad luck in case she didn’t get in. We are so excited!</p>

<p>Sigh. Still waiting. Applied end of September, but school did not send grades, school report, etc., until almost mid-November. Gibson has been showing " . . . complete . . . working to render your decision . . ." almost 3 weeks now. Tulane counselor confirmed that SCEA application is complete and that said should hear back “soon” (that was over a week ago).</p>

I know I signed on late after lurking a bit, but are me, aquamom, cheer007, and justmehere the last on this thread, waiting, hoping…?? I am really starting to worry that my D is going to be disappointed. She got an acceptance, with scholarship, to another top choice of hers, but then we both said “hopefully we’ll hear from Tulane!!” Poor baby is losing hope now… 
asked me if I would take her to visit NOLA anyway as it is really her kinda town!!</p>

All I know is that my application is complete but looking at the dates…
I don’t think it’s normal (for Tulane, I mean) to take nearly a month to get back go me? :p</p>
