I finished HP7: Wow - Please no SPOILERS in this thread

Not my daughter you b*tch!

huh? .

I didn’t like the fact that there was so much plot, the emotional development of the characters got left behind. There was always something new happening in every chapter – character deaths, characters narrowly escaping death – and you don’t see the characters traumatized by it like they were in the other books. It never seemed like a big deal when some minor character died, even if they were supposedly important to Harry and his friends.

I think that they got used to it. And since Dumbledore died they knew that they couldn’t just cry for days about one person because a lot more people would die if they didn’t concentrate on trying to find the deathly hallows and the horcruxes.

^^ yes indeed
loved it
i wanna reread the entire series again

gnrfan is referring to the line in the book where Mrs. Weasley viciously attacks Bellatrix (?) after the latter attacks Ginny in Hogwarts (if I am correct). Accurately sums up the affection that mothers bestow upon their children.

That line was my favorite. Everytime I hear it, I start laughing.

LOL, too bad Snape died though…he was the sh1t…

^no spoilers please (read the title)

^ its been a week
if u havent finished it by then or havent even bought it then thats sad lol

^why does the title of the thread still say “Please no SPOILERS in this thread”… Please learn to read.

There are people who don’t have time to read mediocore fantasy novels. sorry… I’d rather read Tolstoy

^ then you shouldn’t worry about spoilers.

Anyone notice that, even though OoTP had the longest page count (870) it also had the most lines per page (31)? It’s a damn big book. The others have like 28 or 29 to a page.

Kaznack- never even heard of that before.
All I can say is “wow.”

That’s because OotP had a smaller font. There’s a page in the back with info about the font and paper and such. All the other books are 12 point font, and OotP is 11.5.

I’ve never noticed that before. Wow.

Wow. That’s random.
