I'm I selfish for wanting to go to Cal? WARNING: Lots of drama!

Also, @sonic23, how is the situation with your crazy history professor and other classes this semester? Did all of that get resolved?

@cayton I dropped him thankfully on time. Everyone in his classes are getting bad grades. Idk how he’s still allowed to teach!

And I haven’t gotten my grades yet but worse case I got Bs in my other classes. I was able to keep my stats grade up after all. How about you? Did you ever end up dropping your history class??

This situation seems very strange!

@Cayton‌
DON’T ASK ME THE SAME QUESTION YOU ASKED @sonic23!
X_X

LOL

@Lindy8 How old are you and how old do you feel?

I plead the fifth @collegedropout1!
Although maybe I feel mid-30s. That was my favorite time.

lol, I won’t ask you @lindyk8, but apparently @CollegeDropout1 would’ve beat me to the punch anyway.

@sonic23‌

I never did drop that history class of mine, but things are getting better and I’ll probably get a B in it. I also expect to get at least B’s in all of my other classes. Even at worst, I probably won’t get more than one C, so I should be fine. But I still have one week to go until classes are over!!

And I’m glad to hear that you’re out of the clear with that history professor and in your other classes! Hope to see you at UCLA this fall. :D

Yeah @cayton I didn’t know about all that drama with your class until a couple of days ago when I found the thread by accident. After the acceptance announcements I was off for a few weeks. Wow, I had no idea! And not just you, a bunch of others. It was intense reading. Glad it all worked out. I figured it did since you were securing your housing.

The takeaway from all that is that they don’t appear to rescind much unless, of course, a major infraction.

@lindyk8‌

Things are better, but I’m not quuuuuite out of the woods yet, lol.

I can see the light at the end of the forest of danger, but I’m still in the forest, lol.

I’ll stop with the crappy analogies now lol(Or is this a metaphor? idk)

We’ll that’s too bad you still have anxiety hanging over you like a black cloud on a sunny day. :(

It always amazes me how these threads turn into off-topic conversations!

@lindyk8‌

Yeah. Even now, I have a huge essay that I’m typing up for one of my philosophy classes that I should get done ASAP, lol. (If you’re curious, I’m discussing the ethics of prostitution. This paper is kind of hard. :open_mouth: )

I also have my final exam for my online art history class today. Ugh.

@CollegeDropout1

And that’s what I love about this forum. :)

Go to cal

Omg! Go to Cal. Get that degree and pay child support with that high paying job (if there really is a pregnancy). If you have what it takes to get into that major at Cal, DON’T throw it away. If anyone is selfish it is your GF. If she was truly looking out for the best interests of that child (again, IF THERE IS A CHILD) she would want its father to have an amazing job. Sounds like a super needy individual.

This is the worst thing I have ever heard… I am going to stop having sex with my girlfriend until I move, as a precaution lol

@JewBacca‌ - You have a gf, and you were shamelessly flirting with lindyk8!!?? [-X

@2016Candles I was just about to say that!

hahahahahahaha >:)

"**** her. Go to Berkeley."

This.

@music1990 but that’s how he got in this situation in the first place!! Seriously though, go to Berkeley unless you want your baby wearing McDonalds trash bags as diapers- get on that pampers level. Hopefully you didn’t get her pregnant though, that would be a bonus. @someperson1
