Indiana University Bloomington Early Action for Fall 2025 Admission

Congratulations
Are you seeing it in the portal too or just email?

Could you post stats? Getting anxious!

Did you just get the email?

Same here. Still waiting. DA Kelley.

Curious about what major? We are still waiting on the School of Public Health specifically Sports Management

@Foolnt8 Did the Director indicate whether SPH will have a Direct Admit day, like Kelley and Arts & Sciences, in addition to the Red Carpet days that have been posted?

We visited over the summer for the prospective info session and tour. At this point, my son is most interested in learning more about SPH, specifically, and meeting other admitted students in SPH (esp. sports mgmt). The Direct Admit days we’ve read about for Kelley and Arts & Sciences sound great, so we’re wondering if that’ll be an option for SPH or if our best bet will be a Red Carpet Day with possibly an SPH-specific info session in the afternoon.

No mention of merit for my son.

Merit typically comes after acceptance. Our older one got in (Class of 2026) and got merit offer a few days later (and Hutton even later).
Not sure what the timeframe is this year.

Congrats on acceptance! Our younger one just got DA Kelley tonight as well!

Has anyone that submitted transcript back in Octobe, but IU misplaced and tagged it as being received on 12/19 gotten accepted, or heard anything at all today? I am nervous my child will get bumped to regular decision due to the transcript upload drama and IU inputting the incorrect date. We would feel a lot better waiting for Wednesday to arrive if others whom experienced the transcript drama are actually getting responses today.

We had the transcript issue and heard today.

D25 didn’t receive the invitation for DA Day yet. She received invitation for the red carpet day today.

Here as well! I was hoping all the Sport Management decisions would be sent out together, but I guess not.

Received an email around 5pm EST to check portal for an admissions update.

Direct Admit to Kelley, issued earlier today! Very relieved student.

Stats: Out of state (IL). 4.28 GPA weighted, 3.8 unweighted (4.0 unweighted after freshman year). No class rank. 1440 SAT, 8 AP courses. Varsity athlete at highly ranked large suburban Chicago school, DECA State Qualifier, lots of volunteer and progressive work experience.

Also accepted to Michigan St.-Broad. Waiting on UIUC-Geis and tOSU-Fisher. Denied early restrictive action from Notre Dame-Mendoza, did not try for Michigan-Ross.

Grateful for all of you contributors to this thread to help explain the process and set expectations, especially after some of his friends received their decisions in December. Go Hoosiers!

Has anyone gotten DA admissions for the O’Neill school yet?? I applied as a public management major but I’ve received nothing. I applied on 10/31 but they didn’t receive my transcript until 11/1 so now I’m worried I got placed into RD.

Same here waiting on acceptance- audition scheduled. Got audition confirmation email- do they send those if you aren’t going to be accepted to general IU?

Does anyone’s Hutton submission status in the portal NOT say January 13?

Daughter found out College of Arts and Science at 1 or 2 pm today, Mon Jan 13.

I applied for econ before the ea deadline. On the atlas website, a few of the items I submitted in the complete applicataion section, are under submitted and have not been approved. Can I still expect a decision before 15th?

I would think admissions and Jacobs process are independent from each other, but I do not know that for certain. What instrument? My son is percussion!
