We just got the email! Accepted as a DA to the School of Public Health - Sports Marketing & Management major! OOS - Massachusetts. 4.24 GPA/1300 SAT/Solid EC’s. They keep rolling them out! I hope everyone else hears soon!!
Accepted as DA to Kelley. Woohoo! I am glad that IU finally fixed whatever tech issue they had in notifying their last EA batch(es) yesterday. Congratulations, everyone! Now, we can move on to other things.
Congratulations! We heard yes as well
He ended up just putting something together and doing the essay. He kinda combined parts of two supp essays from another school and made the necessary adjustments. I don’t think it’s anything great but I guess it shows that he has continued interest.
I’m assuming no need for a LOCI in addition to this and that this takes place of that?
This is for Kelley. She’s talking about a different program.
Congratulations. May I know if your child received the result via an email or just by checking the IU portal? We still haven’t heard but warned that the release date was to extend.
Email to tell my kid to check the portal and then the admitted status in the portal. I recommend emailing your counselor to get an update if you still have not heard. He/she should be able to at least let you know what’s going on.
After an applicant is admitted, how long does it take for him to receive the financial aid package? We checked “View/Manage My Financial Aid Information” app in One.IU but there is no information!
Many, many posts above have noted that it’s taken 5 to 10 or more days to receive merit offers, for admits who received their admissions notices in December. It will not be immediate, and may take a different amount of time now that many more EA notices have gone out. Patience is warranted.
Thank you!
If you assume $3k to the most some has posted is $11.5k, you can start to determine if that’s enough for you to go…so you have a plan when it comes. Maybe one amount isn’t enough but another is. And some get nada.
It sounds like the Dean’s scholarship maxes out at $11,500/year. But my student also received an additional $5k/year from her specific department. Sorry, I don’t know if different majors/departments have widely varying awards or whether it’s standardized across IUB.

Hello, are you referring to high school counselor or counselor at IU? We don’t know who might be the counselor at IU.
Has anyone gotten an email which asks to apply for scholarships?was it sent to everyone or just a few? it goes like this: The Indiana University scholarship system has identified potential opportunities that are based upon your current IU student or applicant profile.–
My D received that email as well.
My S got it as well.
How long ago was your student accepted?
Same, my student received it.
