My iPad is driving me crazy. Every article that I have opened recently has skipped to the end on opening instead of starting at the beginning. On CC, when I open a thread, instead of going to the first unread post, it skips to the last post in the thread. Did I inadvertently change a setting? I hope that one of you can help or I will have to make a trip to the Apple Store.

Emily bee, thanks for the number; it will be good for future use. I called but her solution was to reset which erases too many of my settings which I don’t want to do right now. I have to go out for a few hours but will try to play around with it when I have more time. I might eventually have to resort to the reset but I have learned that some of these issues will resolve on their own. Good luck, Testingearly, let me know if your’s recovers.
Have you tried a hard reset - NOT rest the settings? It’ll just kind of reboot things.
Yup, try a simple reboot first. That won’t erase any of your settings.
The reboot didn’t work yesterday but so far today it seems that the issue has resolved itself. Don’t you just love technology!
