Is there a way to jump right to first unread posts?

Is there some way to jump right to the first post I have not yet read in a thread, when signed in? I can do this on other forums.

I wonder if I’m missing something obvious.

If you are signed in, go to the list of threads for a particular forum.

  1. If you have never visited that thread, the thread will be boldfaced.
  2. If you have visited the thread and there are new posts, the thread will be boldfaced and and a little box will say "7 new" or whatever.
  3. f you have visited the thread and there are no new posts, the thread will not be boldfaced.

Bookmark the thread. Under thread title on left. Then click My Bookmarks when, select thread.

When you see the little box saying “x# new” click on the headline. It will take you to the first of the unread messages

This works, whether thread is bookmarked or not-- thank you all!

Post # 1 did it. The only caveat is to be signed in- clearing the browser history will erase that.
