I think the last several episodes have been incredible. The episodes about Richard, Benjamin Linus, John Locke, and now Desmond…top notch.

The writing…and the acting…

I don’t know where they get these actors. They are all terrific. I watch one episode…and I think the actor who plays John Locke has the Emmy locked up. Then I watch the actor who plays Ben…and I think he has the Emmy locked up. Then Richard and now Desmond. And the amazing thing is…three of these four actors were not part of the original cast.

And I love the Daniel Faraday character too.
I love the chemistry between Desmond and Penny.

I don’t know where the show is going but I love where the show is going.

I’m watching! You’re right, it has been great this season. Last night’s episode was so good. I just love Desmond and Penny, but was thrilled to see Daniel Faraday again. I had a hunch Widmore was going to turn out to be a good guy – hope it holds true, as it looks like it might.

Just watched last night’s episode today. Wow, so many things coming back around and around.
The whole dead/alive Heaven/Hell thing is fascinating…
I refuse to believe Charles Widmore isn’t evil after his mercenaries killed so many people so many times.

I really enjoyed the episode this week (having Desmond throughout makes up for no Sawyer) and also thank Patsmom for the link. I’m not sure if this week actually answered questions but it sure pumped up the speculation on the finish! I liked this week so much that I went and told DH all about it even though he doesn’t follow it all. I’m going <spoiler alert=“”> “and Desmond and Charlie and Eloise and yay Daniel’s back even though he’s not Faraday and oh the scene in the water with the car was wonderful and wow there’s Penny in the stadium and Jack was in the hospital and who was George anyway I know I know him and wasn’t that Jacob’s rocking chair and…” And he’s going “huh”? DS watches it after the fact so I can’t talk to him yet so I spent a long time on the TWOP boards enjoying everyone’s analysis and what they think it means.</spoiler>

Sometimes I think Eloise is the key. She always seems to be in the know. And what a great actress. I first saw her in one of my all time favorite movies, “Waking Ned Devine.”

I was so choked up when Desmond met Penny at the stadium. Oh, boy. Although you would think she would have asked him how he knew her name.

The one bummer of the show - evil Sayid. I just don’t want Sayid to be evil.

Yup, who is good and who is evil? So hard to figure out. I am going to be so bummed out when it is over.

BTW - what I will also miss is that DD and I watch simultaneously and skype chat throughout the show. We both look forward to our Lost fixes.

I have loved this show from the first episode. I watch online; there are fewer commercials and I can pick a time when I can really concentrate. Still, there is a lot that I miss. So I love the recaps on EW.com. They are very well-written and informative.

LOOOOOOVVVVEEE Lost!! Also, Love “What’s Alan Watching” blog. Talking about commercials, didn’t you all think that there were way too many on Tuesday? Anyway, I will be so sorry when it’s over. But I am so eager to find out what the ending will be. I think it’s just about the best TV show ever.

What’s Alan Watching has some of the most intelligent commenters I’ve ever seen online (outside of here on CC, of course ). If you’re a fan of The Wire, check out his recaps of those episodes. I love reading the comments on Breaking Bad, Modern Family and Parenthood, too.

When I want snarky, I read Television Without Pity recaps – can’t beat 'em for stuff like Idol, the dancing shows and Project Runway. But for thoughtful, intelligent discussion, give me Alan Sepinwall’s blog any day!

Huge Lost fans around these parts; I can’t tell you how it warms my heart to see my daughter and husband attached at the waist while they watch…actually will be very sorry to see it end as it marks the end of a stage in my daughter’s life with her father…well, now I’m getting faklemped…

and this season has been awesome all around; every time I think I’ve seen the best episode ever (Richard), we get the next one which is just as good or better (Desmond)…

Actually, now that DD has almost three years under her belt, I feel qualified to offer some advice to parents as they send their kids off next year. If you can find a show that you both enjoy, arrange to watch it at the same time and IM or skype chat one another while it is on. It is a completely different type of conversation from the usual parent/student dialogue. It has given us a weekly reason to talk about something we are both interested in, doesn’t sound anything like an interrogation, and gets you thru any rough spots.

I don’t know what we will watch together next year - we sometimes do House - but I am determined to have another show that brings us together each week.

I like House too. Lost and House…and I try to watch the Big Bang Theory…when I’m not tired.

I’m going to need a new show. Like others here…it’s going to be a show my daughter watches too.
I thought the Richard episode was amazing and then…the Desmond episode aired…
