Issues with old CC site

I was trying to lookup some threads from the old CC (pre-Aug 2004 - <a href=“http://www.collegeconfidential.com/discus/[/url]”>http://www.collegeconfidential.com/discus/&lt;/a&gt;) and I’m having trouble accessing threads. In Firefox, it tries to make me download the html file that the cgi script is serving up, and downloading and loading the file just repeats the same cycle. In IE, I can atleast see the thread, but it brings up runtime and syntax error messages. Any way this can be fixed, or is that part of CC no long supported? (Or is this problem just on my end?)
