I thought someone said it was 25% acceptance from petition process???
It is possible the 65% includes the acceptance rate of sophomores into the program in a given āclass.ā But I can assure anyone reading this the admit rate of petitions is nowhere near 65% from incoming frosh.
They changed information on their site. I swear it said before something like : we encourage you to make the effort of submitting a petition since 65% of them get a positive answer.
Now it says
Incoming Direct Admit class profile
Pursue a world-class business education with students who come to Kelley from throughout the United States and more than 30 different countries. Our current incoming Direct Admit class includes 2,055 students.
Yes they changed the wording last year. I assumed that meant the 65% was no longer accurate.
I am new in CC, international and I know this is not the subject but may I ask you guys if you think the Wisconsin Business School is as good as Kelley? My son got direct admission at WM. Your opinion will be more than enlighting.
Iāve seen 65% on here quoted before so Iām sure you are correct, no idea if that was old information or that was the denial and was stated wrong. But no matter - a decently highly ranked Bschool in general will be 20% in the best of time - IU is higher because it has the auto-direct admit many of whom do not choose to attend Kelley.
Every single college is equally as good as another. Itās all about what is important to you.
I do know UW - Madisonās business school is very good and their real estate program is one of the best in US. Not enough of an expert to make an overall comparison to Kelley.
Thank you for you reply. My son is interested in Marketing.
UW business and IU Kelley are peers.
Kelley is one of the best (public or private) for Marketing majors.
Do you have any idea what the yield range is for a top 25 public undergrad business program?
My complete guess is Kellogg, Wharton, Stanford, etc. are in the 50-60%+ range and the publics are probably in the 25-35% range but I would take your guess over mine.
Check out this thread as well:
Great! Thank you so much everyone
Northwestern and Stanford donāt have undergrad business programs. Kellogg is NUās graduate school of business. NU undergrads can earn a certificate from Kellogg, but thatās fewer classes than a minor.
hi can someone help me, I am an intl who applied for business to IU Bloomington in end of December. I have a 1430 sat and 3A* and 1A in A levels ( so I think the gap requirement isnāt gonna be a problem ). I wrote an extra essay about Kelley in specific which I received after submitting my application. now does this mean I am being considered for Kelley as a direct admit? and if yes do I have a good chance?
You have what it takes concerning the SAT score, however you applied after November 1st, therefore you needed to submit a review request.
I m not sure if I have submitted a review request or not. I just wrote an essay after applying and getting my id. where can I check if I have submitted the review request?
A petition has to be done in an specific link and it requested 2 essays to be completedā¦you receive a mail from Kelley at the end
Good morning
May I ask you if you think sending the scholarship request is necessary to get a reply for the petition ?
No - not necessary
