Hello everyone, I am new here. I am a semifinalist who got asked for additional information, completed an interview, and they requested a form from me about a week ago. I am kind of freaking out because while browsing reddit, I saw that apparently someone received an email about a Zoom meeting on Friday 04/15. Any one received that? Again, I saw this in another post and just wanted to clarify
I was talking earlier with my advisor about how anxious I’ve been about this scholarship and how the suspense is killing me. He told me that he had received an email about the results being delayed until next week.
Update! I did eventually get an interview that I think went pretty well and the request for the conduct form last week!
I really dont get why they couldn’t tell all the semifinalist that it would be pushed back into next Thursday. Like if you guys didnt told us this information we wouldn’t even know it was delayed. I dont get how it is fair that some people know about the dates while others dont.
Hey @ayayay55 , I saw the reddit post you were talking about. I did some investigating, and from the comments she’s been posting on college-related subreddits, that reddit user is currently in high school and was referring to the JKC high school scholarship. So, I think we’re fine.
For those of you who got up to interviews: did you receive anything else since then? I heared that some people got conduct request but I did not get it. If you got that email, when did you receive it? Are there any folks who didn’t receive anything after the interviews like me?
@ged893, they just needed the contact and enrollment from some semis. I got it, it took less than 30 seconds to do. Doesn’t mean you’re out cuz you didn’t get that additional info email after interview.
@DasaniH20 Oh man, I think it’s somewhat an indication that I’m out. Why would they choose to send it to only some semi-finalists? Also, I think that there are more people who got it compare to who didn’t.
