Well, we waited already 20 days LMAOO. So honestly, Its time. At this point, I have gone through so many emotions that my emotions machine is broken lolol

Hey everyone! I thought the date was 4/23, Thursday when we find out. Everyone’s excited for tomorrow so I’m a little confused… 
Hey @FortunateFlorida I completely understand your confusion. This process is highly unpredictable and everyone seems to be hearing something different. In fact. my advisor said they would find out today and let us know. Everything is certainly frustrating right now and like @DasaniH20 said, my emotion machine is also broken lol but let’s try and focus on the things we can control. Unfortunately, receiving an answer from JKC cannot be controlled, no matter how much we want to.

I heard the email is this Wednesday, latest Thursday from what I spoke to from the high school 2020 scholars… and the big surprise is this Friday
Do you guys think they’d surprise transfer scholars in the same exact way they did for college scholars? I mean it wouldn’t really be a surprise anymore because you can pretty much assume that you’re a winner once you get the zoom call email?
I was thinking the same, if you get an email tomorrow or on Thursday. You know you’re a scholars.
However, something makes me believe we’ll have to wait another week as colleges are going to be “encouraged” to surprise their scholars before the press release. In which the scholars would attend a zoom, which would be next friday. OR, every semis would be on a call to trick us, and only 1 group of semis would be the scholars.
I am leaning towards the “we get an email tomorrow or Thursday, and press release on Friday” and "all final round semis will be invited to a zoom call, but there would only be 1 group that will be a scholar. "

Especially since one of your advisers has tag a lot of semis from your school on twitter to the foundation, and I’ve read all about it lol. So def, a bright group at Perimeter College. I do a have a question, does that mean that as a Perimeter College student, you can take classes at Georgia State University?

Making different groups in order to tell them “You’re not the scholars this year, sorry xd” seems kind of harsh lol. I hope they don’t do that. I’d much rather have a press release, and then maybe invite the winners after everyone knows.

Results are out! I just received notification that I am a Jack Kent Cooke Finalist. Wow… I never imagined I would be typing this. I look forward to joining the rest of our Cohort.
I know everyone is itching for information. This is what I know. Advisors have been notified and it is up to them to decide when and how to tell you.
