Thank you @iggywiggly I didn’t know things like this happened to normal people. I still do not quite grasp what this means to my future. I never did any of the things that brought me to the attention of the JCKF for recognition.
It feels strange to be acknowledged in this fashion. No one person at the college ever knew what I was up to because I wasn’t looking for recognition. For one of my projects I worked ten hours a week on a project for two semesters and only one person in the entire college knew it. He was a humble man as well. I later learned he had won all these awards and never told anyone.
I have so much karma to pay forward now. I have no idea how to repay the JCKF or all the promising students they have acknowledged.

@Philippekaa Have you heard anything at all from your adviser? Mine hasn’t been available since the pandemic shut down campus.
I think you and I are in the same boat since neither of us got the conduct and enrollment form. I’d be interested to see the stats on what that means once they announce more finalists ?
@iggywiggly see I have never heard of that at all. My community college had never heard of this program and I didn’t really promote it at my community college either. So your saying whoever wrote your accommodation isnt your adviser? How can I found out who is my advsier? Throughout these past months I never been alert about anything so I am thinking does my community college even have an adviser.
Yeah my school doesnt have one and I think it is too late to fill out the form to even have one either lol. This really sucks because I didn’t even know about the adviser part until right now. Thank you for the reply/
@HopeSeaker123 when we requested for mine to be the JKCF rep, she showed on the website within the day. It might not be too late, especially since not all the reps have been notified yet.
In any event, we will find out with or without our reps. There will be a press release. My rep has been MIA so I fully expect to find out no sooner than that press release, especially since I don’t get the JKCF emails on my school email.
I was requested to submit all of the additional information but haven’t gotten any updates yet. I tried to contact my college foundation for any news, they said they don’t have any connection with JCK Foundation. The person who is supposed to have is an adjunct music professor who hasn’t replied to my email yet . This wait is killing me
