Junioritis, Class of 2012

I have an ** insane ** amount of HW due tomorrow… and I’m mad sick.

■■■

WashU is like that. they are super weird with admissions, lots of really good stats get waitlisted and the so-so get admitted. hmmm!

For spring break I’m probably visiting my friend in college and possibly sitting in on some classes. I want an idea of how college classes are and what the private college scene looks like

I hope it goes well 2morrow. ^_^

^^make sure an admin knows you were there so that you get points for it or whatever.

Skarpi- I have two tests tomorrow and im going to be up until 2 am. Maybe later

Huskies- lucky girl!

Marine- good luck

spring break… umm nothing much actually . they gave us 3 extra days yaaay ! even though we had like 5 snowdays. i guess ill just enjoy the weather and study … and visit some schools of course.

really though… i love this thread :)

Skarpi - feel better!
Marine- goodluck!!

So… early decision schools anyone?

Here’s the rest of my junior year schedule…

May 2: AP Psych exam
May 6: AP US History exam
May 10: AP US Gov exam and State-mandated US History exam (yayyy…)
May 12: AP Macro exam

June 4: 3 SAT subject tests

■■■.

Oh, and thanks guys!
I’m not EDing anywhere, but I’m EAing to almost all of my schools.

EA for me is NEU and Umass Amherst. that’s it.

Okay i’m tired.

Good night peeps.

Skarpi- if Cornell had it, I would.

Huskies- glad I made this thread :)

Does Cornell have EA? does anyone know? I’m mobile and the CC App takes a while to load when I close it lol.

So far:
EA- MIT, UMass, NEU, Rutgers
RD- Wellesley, smith, Yale, BU, RPI

And idk about Cornell

My school put in place this new project based final thing. Basically, I only have one real final to study for and we will be working on the final projects throughout the fourth marking period.

:D

Cornell * does * have early decision.

Skarpi - lucky!

im not EDing … just EA if its available .

I read somewhere they got rid of it…

Do they have EA?

@CPU- I’m really glad you made this thread too!!

@Marine- Hope it all goes well tomorrow. We’ll be thinking of you!

@Black- How do I do that? I was wondering how colleges know that you’ve shown interest. I’ve visited lots of schools already but as far as they know, that never happened.

Okay no EA to Cornell (sorry if by the time I post this, someone already does.) it’s a stretch for ED because I might not get good aid. But I’ll definitely do it, and if I can’t afford it, I’ll turn it down and keep going with my apps.

@CPU regarding Cornell, they only have ED.

If I like my end of the year grades, I’m definitely doing it. MIT doesn’t have ED. if they would I wouldn’t apply, there would be too many geniuses.

Cornell is my next financial safety bet. I need to kickass this semester.

ED is binding…

****… I have to fit in APs, SAT, and ACT.

And other stuff.

You should definitely do it, CPU. Although its binding if you demonstrate that you cannot accept due to financial reasons, it won’t be an issue probably.

Goodnight Black!
And thank you ghuskies :)

I’m EAing to Auburn, LMU, Chapman, and Notre Dame. Doing the scholarship deadlines for USC and U Washington  RDing everywhere else.

I wish USC had EA. :frowning: They might go to commonapp next year, ugh…

Plus CPU: If you do ED to Cornell, you can’t do EA to MIT.
