@foreverheavyn same here! I have a feeling that income is a pretty important factor in the admissions process. LEDA focuses on students who come from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds, and I think the average family income for the past cohorts was somewhere around ~35K annually. GPAs are important and a high GPA should definitely strengthen your application, but at least in my opinion, the income will be weighed more.
So, I haven’t received an email confirming I moved on to round 2 yet, but I just checked my fluidreview page and it says that I’ve advanced to round 2! Anyone else get this? Freaking out right now, I hope this is real 
@hilobanana Are you sure the fluid review thing is accurate :O??? I checked, and it said I’m going to Round 2, too :O!!! So hyped :D!!!
Hey guys! Sorry for the double post, but… Anybody know how many rounds there will be? I’ve read there are 3 from past threads. How many are interviewed in round 3 from round 2?
I’m not sure if its 100% accurate, but I read past LEDA scholars threads and people said that their fluidreview pages changed before they were notified that they made it to the next round! And again from what I’ve seen there are 3 rounds total, 2nd round is financial info and test scores, and 3rd round is the interview. Aghhh this is getting so real
@hilobanana @Newdle Hey guys! I checked my application and it also says I’ve been admitted to round 2! But there is no place to submit the info so I think we’ll have to wait for a confirmation email!
I’m now obsessing over this lol hopefully this is true for all of us and we really did make it!
@tofabforyou yay! I know haha same, once I found out my fluid review changed, I’ve been checking my email like every hour :’( I guess it’s just a waiting game till we get an official email…

I just checked my fluidreveiw account and saw it also sayed that I moved on to part 2!!! I really hope this is not a hoax because I’m anxiously waitng for that confirmation email. :-S
Okay so I contacted LEDA and everyone is seeing the congratulations message because of a computer error. You’ll only know if you were accepted in round 2 by email! But everyone keep your hopes up because it’s only the beginning of January!

In order to continue in the LEDA scholar’s selection process you must complete the three tasks outlined below. Please log into your account at https://leda.fluidreview.com/ to complete these tasks.
Part II Tasks:
- Tax Return Form o Fax or scan and upload a copy of your family’s most recent federal tax return If your parents filed taxes separately, you must provide a tax return for each parent If someone who is not your parent claims you on their tax return, you must include that tax return
- Updated Academic Information (to be completed with a counselor) • Answer the online questions about your grades and test scores • Fax or scan and upload a copy of your most recent transcript • Fax or scan and upload a copy of your standardized test score report (SAT, PSAT, ACT or PLAN exams)
- Proof of Citizenship Status o Fax or scan and upload a copy of ONE of the following documents: birth certificate OR passport OR green card OR certificate of citizenship
We ask that you submit all materials within TWO WEEKS of receiving this email. The sooner we receive your materials, the sooner we will be able to move forward with your application.

Hey guys!!! I just found out I’ll be moving on to Round II also! I got the email this morning!
Any of you guys just as afraid of the next round as I am?
For all those LEDA Scholars, I have a question. I have very low PSAT scores (161 
) and I was wondering how much that would affect me. I’m a good student, but I’ve just got low standardized test scores. I am actively studying for my SAT so that way I can at least get a 1900-2000. I know that we have to submit our PSAT scores in within two weeks, so there is no way to try and lobby it by adding in an SAT score. I believe I am a strong applicant in all other aspects, but my weakness is in my standardized test scores. Will this affect me too much?
Also, by CBO Affiliation, what exactly does that mean? I am a part of multiple organizations that are not listed in the dropdown list. Would organizations such as the NCWIT count? Girls Who Code is there, but I don’t see other organizations such as She++ listed. So what exactly would qualify as CBO Affiliation?
