Let's name the royal baby!

Oh, my. The day my son and now wife got engaged, this royal couple did the same. We were hoping the wedding date wouldn’t be the same (It wasn’t).

Today my happy couple had their first child. I’m not saying the name, but I hope it’s not chosen by Kate and Will.

I also hope Kate has an easy pregnancy.

In looking for something about a princess & twins, I found this sweet story.
[Norway’s Crown Princess Minded Surrogate Children](http://abcnews.go.com/International/t/story/norways-crown-princess-minded-surrogate-children-17865854)

An old friends DIL, had his 4th grandchild yesterday. ( I don’t have any)
However, Prince Charles is nine years older than I am! ( he is very good at waiting);)

In honor of America’s current royal couple, how 'bout…

Girl: Kim
Boy: Kayne

If it’s a boy, Bruce. If it’s a girl, Snooki.

I’ve never heard of morning sickness so serious you had to be hospitalized! I hope she’s OK.

I think because William got Diane’s ring and Kate wears it, then Harry will be the one who uses Diane’s name for a daughter.

Just a guess.

Elspeth is also Scottish.

If a girl they should name her after Taylor Swift. If a boy name him either 50 Cent, Lebron, or Kobe - or all three.

ML, I’ve had friends who have been hospitalized for the same thing. It’s very serious and can go the whole pregnancy.

Oh, my, that sounds dreadful.

ek, that was a beautiful story… but surrogacy is illegal?! How sad on so many levels.

I do think the names will be far less colorful than we have here for our American “royalty”. I mean, I doubt we’ll see any Apples…

Twins: Sherwood & Forest

MaineLonghorn: I also had a friend hospitalized for severe morning sickness - twice - once sometime in the first three months and then again at five months or so. She literally could keep nothing down … I think she lost 10 pounds or so her first three months.

S2’s kindergarten teacher spent months in the hospital. It was a terrible year for him as well as her.

I like the idea of Victoria if it’s a girl. Maybe it’s time for a George again?

I heard someone suggest that the nod to Diana if the baby is a girl will be to incorporate her middle name, Frances.

You mean the woman he loved for decades that his family wouldn’t let him marry? That woman?

I think the name will be uber traditional, but will have an amazing nickname. This couple seems like the sort that, if given the freedom, would have named their child something like Liv or Willa.

I also like Victoria Elizabeth, but cannot come up with a traditional British name that I like.

*Quote:
After all, I’d love for Prince Charles and that horsey wife

You mean the woman he loved for decades that his family wouldn’t let him marry? That woman?
*

If he had wanted to marry her, he could have. It if meant giving up his line to the throne, then so be it.

And once he decided not to marry her and marry Diana, then Charles and Camilla should have respected the marriage. The fact is, they didn’t.

in response to surrogacy being illegal in Norway…

Surprisingly, it’s illegal in many European countries. I’m surprised by that.

The average person probably wouldn’t be hospitalized, but they wouldn’t want to take any chances. Also it seems odd that she would be hospitalized for several days for something like that. They suggestion is it was dehydration because she was vomiting so much.

I was hospitalized for the same condition. I became so dehydrated that I developed an irregular heartbeat.
