It’s the start to a new week… It’s May 10th. I would guess most schools know their waitlist status and if they will be going to it or not. Hopefully they all start doing some communicating since there are so many out there at this point that have stayed quiet to this point.

Good luck to everyone waiting. Hopefully you all get good news, and if not good news, AT LEAST SOME NEWS. Waiting is miserable.

somebody got off franklin and marshall??

^^^ I so agree with you, by this point I just want to have news, I have been waiting for more than a year now and this anogy seems not to be over!!! good luck to everyone!! :)

My daughter got admitted off the waitlist to Yale on Friday 5/7.

Congrats! Send out lots of positive vibes into the universe for the rest of the gang!

Anyone hear anything of Pomona’s wait list yet?

Any news at all for Brown or Dartmouth?
I heard Brown was supposed to say something today…

i would like to know about pomona too!!

omg - my son just called admissions at Umich and they said they don’t think they’ll go to waitlist to get people off the list.

Pitzer College will NOT being using waitlist

^^other thread for schools NOT going to use the waitlist…please and thank you!!

sowwie! didn’t see it

Harvard expects to take “65 to 75” students from the waiting list.

I believe a previous poster (this thread? sorry, no link) suggested that Dartmouth was still a couple weeks away from their wait list decisions. Not what you want to hear, but I do think that was what was posted.

Oh dear, I DO see that someone started a “Colleges NOT going to the wait list this year” thread –

I see Wake Forest on that list. Someone here was looking for that news. bummer.

Anyway, folks might want to check over on that thread too for news.

i know middlebury already took a lot of people off the waitlist, does anyone know if they are going to take more?
