<p>I think we may still see movement throughout the month. Kenyon college posted that they have 498 deposits in and expect a class of 460 because of students deferring or “changing their minds.”</p>

<p>I can see how that can happen. Student A is accepted to Kenyon and wait listed for Harvard. If Harvard reaches out, then the student might jump ship, causing the 498 number to shrink. Still, there would have to be a lot of shifting for the wait list to be called up at this point . . . or do others know of bigger melts?</p>

<p>Someone posted that they knew of many students who had “double” committed to schools. If that is true (hard for me to believe)… at some point there should be some additional openings.</p>
