LUMS Fall 2019 Admissions (Mega-Thread)

@Farman NBS is good but obviously IBA being a business uni is definitely better.

But if you’re not from Karachi and isn’t feasible to go, you should definitely consider NBS

Hey is there anyone or any of your friends who got scholarship+financial aid? I got 50% scholarship but my aid application was rejected. Does getting a scholarship reduce the chances of getting an aid?

@StudyBuddy0 what were your credentials??

Is engineering (electrical or software) a better option or Economics in pakistan?

@CaptainX 7A*s 1A in O Level
4As in AS
1460 in SAT

guys should i take a gap year and retake my SAT to get a better score etc or go to any other university in the hopes of transferring next year if God forbid, this doesnt work out

@morty99 I took a gap year and I will NEVER EVER suggest taking it to anyone. unless obviously you’re way too mentally strong and patient.

GUYS I NEED SERIOUS HELP!
How do you decide that yes this is the major or subject I want to go for. How do you decide a career. I’m so so confused

@StudyBuddy0 no a scholarship doesn’t affect finacial aid. However if you’re offered both, you can only choose one. Not both
