@morty99 you can do anything. I took gap year specially for LUMS. I just took my SAT in December and I wasted the rest of the year traveling. Though it wasn’t a waste exactly but the pressure is still so painful that I am nowhere till now.
@neekastic what r ur credentials? also, I’m already 19 so ill be like a year or two older than everyone there. transferring is the last resort.
@morty99 I’ve got 95% in Matric, 80% in FSc (pre engineering) and 1300 on my SAT with 19 on the essay. A few extra curriculars but not that good and I’ll turn 19 this year.
@morty99 look, I may be wrong but age doesn’t have to do anything (unless there’s any limit or rule given in your course ). But I have wasted my whole year because I’m a v confused over thinker. I still have no idea what to choose between engineering and Econ. So yeah if you use your gap year in a productive way that you enjoy it fully or work on your grades both unlike me, then go for it. Also, be ready for a roller coaster of emotions and stress.

@morty99 what are your credentials? And what major or subject do you want to study?
@neekastic ok so i have 1 A*, 5 A’s and 3 B’s and currently an A and a B in AS. I’m giving my retake of my third subject the day after tomorrow. Also, my SAT score is 1170. I chose the social sciences school as my first and only option and my major as history. Extra credits are pretty good I guess cuz I was a society chair in my A level school and also a part of the student council.
I’m probably not gonna get in though cuz my senior had better credentials and got rejected so I don’t have high hopes. I have IBA, Habib and Indus Valley as my backup.
@morty99 you have good credentials. Don’t be hopeless. Also, LUMS is so unpredictable. People with extra good credentials are unsure about it too. That’s even better if you have backups.
