if i have avg score in sse but a good score in SAT do i have good amount of chances for sse?
Yes!!! same is the case if you have good score in sse but avg score in sat you have good chances
Ummm… I’ve applied for sse as major preference for maths and eco with a score of 1220/14 in SAT, 3A* 5As in olevels and 3As in As …i have a good profile with many extracurricular activities including MUNs, international art competitions, photography competitions etc…plus I’ve also done internship in a school… my PS is good enough that on its bases i got acceptance from 5 UK universities…but my sse test didn’t go well…can i get acceptance from lums?
@“Maryam20 :/” I am not an expert, just a fellow applicant but I’ve heard that your sat score and the sse test performance are really important for admission in sse, your sat score is a little low for sse but your O level and A level grades are really good so they might compensate for the low sat score. Congragulations on the acceptances you have gotten!
Hi guys I am new here. I applied to LUMS and am currently waiting to give my SAT Exam. I have 2A*s, 4As ,1B and 1C in O levels and 2Cs in A levels in Business Studies and English Language. I am giving my third exam in Maths this May and have a predicted grade of B or higher IA. If I am able to get a score above 1300 or above 1400 on my SAT and a score of above 15 in the essay, would I be able to get into LUMS SDSB?
I also have plenty of extra curricular activities including debates, sports, art competitions, essay competitions and MUNs, a really good personal statement and I also was a finalist for a full scholarship foreign exchange program which provided me with a letter from the US president.
@stressedforreal thankyou… I’ve also applied for mgshss as second preference if they donot accept me for sse… lets all hope for the best
@eqtheweeknd Hey! SDSB is a really competitive school to get into and nobody knows the definite SAT score required but you should aim for a high score approximately around 1350~1400 above. Apart from that your Olevel grades are good but I think the grade requirement for Alevel is a minimum 2B and 1C. Good luck!
@eqtheweeknd your o level gardes seem really good, but your A level grades are borderline, just ensure that you get a B in math so you are eligible to apply. also a sat score above 1350 will gave you a fair shot at being admitted into SDSB.
has LUMS ever accepted BCC grades?
@Nafayy it says on the website of lums that the minimum requirement for A level is BBC, they dont accept anything below this.
@Az3EmX thanks for responding dude! Idky no one else did. I was just worried about my sat 2 marks
What about my stats?
@Lumsu2020 your sat 1 and sat 2 scores seem really good, your AS grades are also solid, but your o level grades seem a little less than the average 8 As that LUMS applicants have. How did your SBASSE test go?
@stressedforreal I didn’t give the test. Gave sat 2 scores instead.
hii i have 10 As in my o level but SAT score is 1320. I dont want to get in any other school except sdsb. also i have a BBA as my AS grades. Can i get into sdsb?? pls reply
@Lumsu2020 oh sorry forget there was an option, your sat 2 scores are pretty competitive
@selenium27 you have great credentials, your sat score is a little low for SDSB but if the rest of your application is good, you’ll surely get in
@heisenberg0007 @stressedforreal
Thank you so much for responding. I was worried about my A levels grades being too low. That is why I am trying to get a really good SAT score to cover it. I know that still may not be enough but I am hoping for the best because besides my grades in A levels, I feel like I have a solid application.
Y’all need to chill. The decisions will come out after quite some time so honestly no use stressing about it from now.
