So I have 3 friends in LUMS, all of whom told me that the personal statement is only used by the admin to judge which English language class the student should be placed it yk? Apparently, your first year there is like a foundation year in which u gotta study standard courses and it has 2 English classes with different difficulty levels. So your personal statement gets to decide which class u’ll be placed in. No biggie, i suppose.

@Nafayy can you ask these friends how important the sbasse test in for admission in the science school, given that your grades are good enough
@shafay7 i know some people who got rejected for not performing well in sbasse even though they had 1300 sat score.

Difficulty level is similar to SAT subject test.
but what do you do for the maths section as there will be no calcu;ator

Applying for cs. SAT:1470; O levels:6A*s 3As. The problem is that I know I have good enough credentials and stuff but I haven’t studied a word for the SSE entry test. Can like a less than 60% on the test screw up my chances?
Btw does any one else’s “my application” page show “status submitted 86% completed”. Perhaps due to the sse test

Hi! Just wanted to know that if your performance on the SSE test is average and you don’t get admitted but you’ve mentioned HSS as your second preference, will Lums consider you for HSS at least?
