Contacting AOs is absolutely not expected. And if you’re contacting them just to contact them, it adds nothing and may even work against you. Don’t worry a moment more about this!

I know that no one in this forum is an AO but I recently applied to a bunch of GLADCHEMMS schools but im from AZ which is heavily underrepresented I also am an under represented minority however I just found out a girl with a similar demographic and better ec’s is applying for tenth grade could this impact my decision as they wouldn’t want too many POC.
Nope - you each will be evaluated individually, especially as you’re applying for different grades. And schools do not try to limit minority admission!

I just recieved my first acception being an international applicant requiring FA! Not a gladchems school or NH/MA/CT school tho. More decisions for me are yet to come as they come out on M10 like the majority of the schools, so will be definitely waiting for them to come out so that I can weigh all my options out.
