it was honestly so difficult and my gpa dropped from a 3.9 to a 3.5 that trimester however I reused many essays for similar prompts and just remained focused. I honestly couldn’t have done it without my mom. There were SO many times I didn’t want to finish some applications for some schools I lost passion for, but she encouraged me to finish what I started because she’s always taught me you have to stay committed. My parents were such a huge support system to motivate and keep me disciplined. I will say I cant even count how many times I cried during the application process, but I’m proud I did it, and I do believe this process will help us all in this forum with college apps regardless of our outcomes this year!

For those on the East Coast. Are you going into school on time on M10 or late 
late here! We have to make some real-time decisions given the need to put deposits down on private day schools, or not, depending on results!

I have a feeling a lot of people will be sitting in their cars with their children near the school getting results and then letting them out.

Are most notices out by 9 am? Or do some release in the afternoon?
Most schools will send an email this week reminding you to check your portal login and will state what time they are releasing decisions (we got one from Hotchkiss, 9am). With my son two years ago, one school released the night before, one was at midnight and the rest were around 8-9am (eastern time).

Williston. Miss Porter’s usually releases on the 9th as well. I think I heard that Suffield has in the past also, but could be wrong about that.

My original plan was to check decisions in the morning… but I have too many tardies/absences so I will now be going to school and checking them upon return. I don’t know how I’m gonna do it. I think I’ll pass out from the stress before I make it home.
