M10 2025 Freakout Thread!

aw man. Ik many people who don’t receive the notification still get good news on M10, but everybody else has got them even on the West Coast.

It wasn’t Boston  - the school that announced on 2/28 was Moses Brown in Providence. The other four we’re waiting on for 3/10 are Nobles, Rivers, Sebs, and Beaver Country Day. :crossed_fingers:t2:

well, do you think all packages would be sent the 6th or the 7th?, before the weekend?

How come some students receive incoming packages on UPS and some from USPS (For Andover)?

Some of it may be due to living closer to the school than others I assume, since you may be notified when a package is getting closer to your house

Since things are getting pretty tense now with M10 creeping closer and packages arriving, just wanna remind yall that it’s already amazing we have made it this far. Sure, you might be disappointed, but the amount you have accomplished since you started this process to now is insanee. Most people don’t get to go through this at such a young age, and everything, from interviews to essays, have been a huge accomplishment already. The high school you attend does not determine how successful you will be in life. Not receiving any acceptances isn’t the end of the world, and you are AMAZING! :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m trying to convince myself of this too lol (I’ve been so stressed and literally dreaming about getting rejected everywhere) but whether you get accepted or not, you have grown as a person from all these months of working hard.

That being said, there’s only one weekend left! Hang in there and wishing everyone the best of luck on M10 :revolving_hearts::crossed_fingers:

did any international student receive a notification for their package?

I hear Nobles doesn’t do a package. Rivers is showing boxes on their IG but I heard those were hand delivered. No proof just what I heard. We got a box last Saturday and it was hand delivered from a Boston area day school.

do you mind me asking which Boston day school already sent their decision?

By this time Monday, decisions will be out. Crazy. 3 days remaining! Stay strong everyone!

Don’t forget daylight savings time Sunday :grinning:

LOL - you heard that from me ;). I think most people do get the Rivers packages through delivery (no idea what carrier). Pretty sure ours was only hand-delivered last year because the coach that delivered it lives in our town (not a sport my kid plays), so I imagine they just give a handful of packages to school faculty who raise their hand to do in-person delivery near their homes. Also, last year was a Sunday, so doubt they’d hand-deliver on a weekday when the faculty are at school and candidates / parents may be at school or work.

Don’t panic about the lack of packages and notifications. Four years ago I had all the UPS/FedEx/USPS accounts set up and we received zero notifications ahead of time. Nada. Nothing. Zilch. I was convinced that M10 was going to be a bust for my kid.

My kid received 6 acceptances with 6 swag boxes (all but one arrived on M10, Lawrenceville must have got lost in the mail for a few days). Just because you don’t have any notifications does NOT mean that you will be receiving bad news.

Question - but if I can see on FedEx’s website that a school created a shipping label for our address does that definitely mean that my son got accepted to that school? I know that’s a good sign, but I don’t want to get too excited in case that’s not always a guarantee.

People on this thread have said its not 100% but pretty much 99%. If you got a shipping label congrats

My sone applied to 5 schools. We see only one label so far, but that’s from the school that he likes the most, so let’s hope to get a 100% confirmation of good news on M10.
