u can control your effort, your essays, and your preparation, you cannot control the “wind” of the admissions process. give yourself the gift of detachment. you’ve done your part. now, breathe!

You ALL should be really proud of how far you all have come. Going through this application process isn’t easy and requires a lot of effort. You all are some of the most gifted, talented, and hardest-working people I’ve ever heard of people around your age. Most of you are in 8th or 9th grade and have already accomplished so much! Regardless of what happens on M10, all of you have bright futures ahead of you. I know waiting for M10 can be very stressful. But no matter what happens, continue working hard, striving for more, and continue working towards being your best self. Your family, friends, teachers, and everyone should be so proud of you. I wish the best to ALL of you for M10, and I hope you get into whichever schools you desire. If M10 turns out great for you, that’s good! And I hope you enjoy your new school and take whichever opportunities are presented to you at your new school. And if M10 doesn’t turn out well, remember that it does not reflect who you are as a person, and that you are still extremely gifted, and there are many factors out of your control that could’ve caused that result. In conclusion, I wish all of you the best for M10 and the other dates on which schools release their decisions. I know all of you will accomplish great things. Love of love. ^-^

needed this ngl, sometimes i look at what i’ve accomplished or my ssat score and feel imposter syndrome; basically just feeling that there are many other kids out there who are better, but trust we’re all going to get into our dream schools in 15 days.

14 days (2 weeks) out until the big 10 in 2 and a half hours for me! Taft application has finally been fully recieved so I don’t have to worry about that anymore, thank gosh! Assuming they haven’t looked at my application yet, and since I’m getting my results after M10, I think it’d be okay to send them extra info
