MAY 2005 SAT TEST – FORM ONE (verbal experimental)

nice!! whoo lol I just plugged it in my ti-89 and it said FALSE lol and so I put false…I didn’t think to stop and figure out the logic.

so anyone find the vocab on the college girl section harder than USUAL? I actually did well on the other passages, just not the college girl section, because I spent too much time on vocab and it cut me short of time in answeing college girl questions. I kinda breezed through it and I left 2 blank.

yeah i had the imogene one.
imogene, environmentalists, fences, congo… am i missing any?

which grid-in do you think is the real one?

the one with answer 101 for #18? I HOPE SO!

merudh123: the ti89 is a lifesaver :D

for the prime number grid-in, I was running out of time, so I just plugged in the equation they gave and got something containing 101… i thought “101’s prime, what the hell, it’s probably right” and gridded it in in the last few seconds…

same here lol

okay so then since you guys had that same grid-in section, it probably has to be the real one. im guessing. hoping. praying. lol.

the one with answer 101 for #18 is deff the real one cuz that’s the only grid in I had.

damn…so theres no way the star wars one was experimental? i ****ed that one up…

how’d you mess it up? which answers did you put that you think were wrong?

yo son of liberty, did you have sci-fi?

i had star wars… and i had that one talking about the future and stuff.
is that what you mean?

i forget but its mainly the vocab questions that I left blank and was gonna come back to them (hoping i would have time) but spent too much time on the imogene passage that I didn’t have enough time and well if it wsa just one sc then I could have just filled it in when I had some free time in math section but it was 4 so there was no way I could afford to get caught.

so allusion was the experimental one
not experimental:
imogene, environmentalists, congo…

scre

am very sure it was ambigus…anybody who take AP psy would be sure of that…but what does FLAT mean?
1/2 is right too
what is the mirror thing again?i have pre-conconcious but just can’t remmeber
election thing i believe it is b’cuz we can control the future

is it beyond reach?? or is it not existing?

son of liberty, i said the answer aobut imperialistic science fiction (dumb of me), i dont even remember anything about “pronouncements”, and im very sure i messed up the question about commencement and elections…-sigh-

that, combined with two omitted sentence completions, and the likelihood of at least a couple more wrong answers means: not gona beat my last score of 720.

o well, gona have to take it again anyway

ok well section 2 was imogene
section 3 : math
section 4: i forget (verbal)
section 5: i forget (verbal)
section 6: writing 35 min
section 7: math grid in
section 8: congo?
section 9: math
section 10: writing 10 min

what was the question dealing with pronouncements?

is it beyond reach?? or is it not existing?

i said beyond reach. pretty confident of that.

yeah that’s right.

i said beyond reach, it is according to the passage…but in my own world, future doesn’t exist…hehe…
then what does flat mean?
what was the question dealing with pronouncements?
i believe it is about election, and i chose that they could control the nearfuture
would anybody discuss more about sentence completion plz
