m’aussi, lol.

don’t fret- most kids at mcgill are bilingual- i’m not… and i get along fine.

yay i’m 18 today

happy birthday! congrats on reaching montreal’s legal drinking age! lol.

So I’ve been reading these posts for a while just gathering info, but I thought I’d actually register so I could post as well, and say hey to everyone.

Yes, I’m going to McGill next year, and I couldn’t be more psyched. I have so much McGill paraphanalia its not even funny. I’m currently wearing my yoga pants. ;)

Welcome to the board! Always glad to meet another 2009-er. What faculty are you going into? Mmm… McGill yoga pants sound super cozy :)

welcome. Next year should be most excellent

lol, and I thought I was crazy over McGill. McGill has yoga pants?? What they hey ARE yoga pants? Welcome and congratulations!

welcome to the 2009er club…
wht faculty are u going to?

Bcomm@Mcgill Class of 2009

bcomm too! So excited!

bittersweet! U DECIDED??!!! OMG CONGRATS!

how many of u 2009’ers have decided ure residences…

im still confused b/w New Rez and douglas…

I sent in my survey thing. I went with douglas first, because I prefer the house setup over the big floors and doubles. New Rez was my second choice and so on.

I’d choose douglas too. It’s cheaper and it’s got that traditional, stately feel to it. New would be my second too. Crazychai-I think I might accept both McGill and Queen’s for now just in case, but I’m 95% sure I’ll be coming to McGill. I don’t want to leave it to the last minute, but Queen’s commerce is too good of an opportunity to throw away so soon. It’ll make me feel better knowing that I’ve thought about it thoroughly.

I’ve decided on McGIll alsom for arts. My top two choices are also probably Douglas and New Rez, but not sure which one precedes the other. The mountain hall one seems interesting too. Not sure if having a single would be a good or bad thing…

didnt u guys find douglas rooms a little too small? on the mcgill website.?

yeh i did

tats y molson will be my second choice after the new rez

buggz, could you post the link for the rooms (or the pictures of the residences, whatever you were referencing)

I didn’t mind the size of Douglas. Then again, I am a pretty organized person. In my boarding school dorm room, everything I have fits underneath my high bunk bed.

That includes a TV, Monitor, and 2 computers and a desk and space for me to sit.

Amazing what you can fit into a small space when you try.

prospect http://upload.mcgill.ca/residences/Doug_single-lg.jpg

IMHO i think this room is pretty small…

this one is molsen
http://upload.mcgill.ca/residences/BMH_single-lg.jpg

i think this one is pretty OK…

and this is New Residence http://upload.mcgill.ca/residences/NRH_bedroom-lg.jpg
which i think is the best…

but after thinking alot, i think i want a more traditional dorm environment… so im looking at Molsen double room…

damn this residence deciding is becoming hard@!!
