Is it the same regardless of where they got accepted? Mine applied to Pitt main but got accepted to Johnstown on 10/20. TIA
D26 received $20k/year today for Swanson (Bioengineering).
OOS (CA), 3.98 UW GPA, 1520 SAT, total of 9 APs.
For timeline, she completed her application 8/28, was admitted 10/3, and hasnât been invited to honors college (yet?)

Congratulations!! My son got merit letter last night too - $10k a year, OOS, Dietrich, 3.98UW, 4.58W, 1440 SAT, 8 AP, 4 DE, Top 3% of class. Applied 8/6, Accepted 9/29 - received GAP DPT and also accepted to Honors College.

Congrats all!!! Also got my daughterâs merit last night. Seems in line with others - $10k a year. OOS, 3.99 UW, 4.7 W, 7 AP, 2 DE, 1430 SAT, accepted GAP SLP and Honors College. Was hoping for a little more but anything helps!!

quiet hereâŠno merit or FHC decision yet. got our admission decision 9/29. my daughter was so excited she already committedâŠwe hope that doesât impact FHC or merit decision negatively since it looks like we are coming already.

We need to wait to see about aid until he can commit - and praying it happens because Pitt is his #1 for so many reasons. We are also still waiting - accepted on 10/2.
my son heard about honors a few weeks ago. I think he applied mid september ish and got his decision early october? but still nothing on merit.

We are OOS so also waiting on merit to see if Pitt stays #1 on the list. Honors right now is keeping Pitt at the #1 spot, but itâs still early with a couple of other schools not releasing decision until early next year. If there was merit already, I have no doubt my son would commit before hearing from the other schools.

My kid got into honors last night. Applied mid September, accepted early October, merit awarded late october.

My daughter applied at the end of October. She was accepted to business school with a guaranteed law on October 4th. She was accepted to the honors college the next day 12/5. Still waiting

Is Merit awarded on a specific day of the week or time of day? We keep checking for updates to the portal. I know it takes time, but the waiting game is a tough one. LOL
I think it has tended to be Tuesdays after close of business but not sure if thatâs a hard and fast rule
