I have a nice mobile view on my phone here, but not on my tablet. I’ve requested mobile view using my browser on it, but no go. Is it possible to get on a kindle? Other sites give me their mobile view on it.

While you are at it, @Lenitus could you ask about the iPad application. They have claimed its a “priority” for almost two years.
@OHMomof2…here is the reply from the vendor. Bad news for the short term, but sounds like they are planning to support Kindle in the coming few months…
*Currently, our mobile view is not compatible with a Kindle browser. However, it’s on the short-term in our roadmap. To help us out, can you please let me know which model of Kindle, which browser/software version number this is?
We’re hoping to get this addressed in late January/early February.*

It’s a Kindle Fire HD 7 and I use both the built-in Kindle browser (Silk) and Firefox (side-loaded) on it.

@Lenitus there was a perfectly well functioning iPad application which was launched several months before the “upgrade”. I can’t imagine why this is such an issue. It’s not like CC never had an iPad application…it did. But it,was not compatible or,something with the vanilla forums format.
This should easily be able to be fixed.
I’m actually annoyed that this forum would,consider an application for kindle before,fixing this iPad/iPhone app issue

*The iPad currently displays the site as it would render for a desktop browser. I’m not sure that we have any specific plans to make it render a mobile view and I’m certain we don’t plan to create an application for iPads specifically.
What troubles is thumper1 having with the display of the site as it would display on a desktop? What iOS version? What browser and version?*
Not asking for a Kindle app, asking for the mobile view of the web site to work on a tablet. Like an ipad tablet or an Android tablet or a Kindle tablet. It already works pretty well on an Android phone.
Do iphones not get the mobile view also?
I can access this site…I go through safari. But it’s weird that this forum had an iPad app…but it couldn’t be used with the new vendor!
It had an android app too. I miss it but would gladly settle for mobile view.
