My daughter heard no from Elon today- still no word from CCM even though I’m guessing it’s a no at this point?
Same I have not gotten a response from CCM either
When I contacted them, they told me they will let everyone know by March 10th. So, don’t count yourself out!

Yes, the UofMN BFA Acting waitlist usually moves. My kid got an offer after about 2 1/2 weeks on the waitlist a few audition cycles ago. Good luck!

This process truly is so subjective. I got multiple rejections in a row this week and yesterday I got phenomenal news!! The no’s come before the yes’s and maybes!

I think there is always a chance. I have heard of people getting off of waitlists before. Obviously you’ll want to make plans just in case, but perhaps email them and let them know that you’re still interested. The way I have heard waitlists is that the school can see the person in the program, there’s just simply not enough room! I’m an optimist, but I’d say keep some hope alive. This process is so hard! I’m just believing that everyone will end up at the right place at the right time!

She’s really happy with the offers she has, so the rejections definitely sting less, but this is a tough, tough process.
(She didn’t pass prescreens for: Penn State, Ithaca, Carnegie, BoCo)

Yes, other than Oberlin, which is a BM, they are all MT BFA degrees.
Do you remember when you got the notification for the waitlist for Shenandoah?
