On March 7th, my Grandson’s portal says “under consideration”! It is confusing!

I can confirm. I received a call informing me of my acceptance to CMU Acting on Saturday, March 1. I believe all acceptances and waitlists went out that day.

I have been told that all official decisions, including rejections, will be going out towards the end of this week.

Hi! Yes, I received an email from the Director of Recruitment and Enrollment to follow up.

Your grandson (or son, as that’s who refer to in earlier posts) has likely just not had his portal updated yet. CMU calls for offers and waitlists. They update the portal several days later.

I hope so too, but holding out hope in this process can sometimes make the no’s even more tough. If you don’t mind me asking, do you have any offers that you’re excited about? Anywhere else you’re waiting to hear from? We’ll all end up where we need to be!

My daughter has had 3 yeses- one is her first choice- and one waitlist. Still waiting for her portal to be updated for three more schools!

It totally is! But she doesn’t feel like she can officially commit til everything comes thru!

That’s fair. My daughter has a front runner yes as well, but also won’t commit until she gets all her results. Still waiting on 6 schools (plus CCM which we KNOW is a no).
