Congratulations on all the NYU decisions - yay! It’s a no go for us. But that’s ok. Headed to UAB tomorrow, then Missouri State, ONU and Western Connecticut in April. Yay!

I’m just along for the ride, but she and her mama (and vocal coach) have been grinding for a long time. Happy all the effort and planning is paying off. She just auditioned via video submission for a production of ‘Heathers’ off-Broadway and got a call back, so thankfully college craze calmed down for a few days. Sadly, nothing yet on the USC front; it’ll drop probably in the next 60-90 minutes. We’ll have to wait till she gets back from rehearsal to open it with her. Tonight, her and her mama are off on a redeye for Elon! I get to have some wine and walk the dog LOL Everyone on this board is inspiring and reaching for the stars…love it 
(and yes, USC is my favorite place in the world so every finger and toe is crossed - logo was just lame manifesting).

I have done some research and have seen people on the NYU waitlist usually are notified in early-mid may and likely around the same time frame for June. I do not know how much it will move this year cause they had a record breaking amount of applicants, however I am crossing my fingers. Best of luck to all!

Ha! Turns out my Wife jumped the gun and was mistaken…daughter got into BA for Dramatic Arts program at USC, not the BFA MT. Apparently, this means lots of consternation and subtle disappointment. I’m still thrilled! Enough excitement for one day…my apologies for all of the “gun jumping” reports. That’ll teach me to post before I have all of the info. Have a great Spring Break everyone and travel safely!

Isn’t this process so subjective? How do MT programs even decide. My skin is too thin for all of this, but it seems all the future artists are built tough! I hope the USC decision rolls off easy.
We’re loving our UA-Birmingham tour btw. The program has moved up in our eyes for sure. The south ain’t all that bad. I hope Elon rolls out the red carpet. For your girl. She deserves it.
