Similar but different, our bar pies don’t tend to have weird toppings, just traditional. stoolpresidente's Pizza Review at Star Tavern | One Bite
I don’t see a problem with them.
I think that influencers have a good partnership with spanx and that’s why they are all over social media. Meaning they make a lot of money when people buy through their links. Influencers also partner with Amazon.
I have a couple of spanx air essentials tops. They are fine. I like spanx because the pants come in short inseams.
I love them but not the body type for them
I’m with you My 5’10" daughter wears this stuff and looks like a model taking a first class trip to Europe for the weekend.
My 5’2" self would look like a kid dressed up in an 80s sweatsuit about to sit on the couch and watch Days of Our Lives.
Yoga pants. Maybe they are good for yoga, but I don’t understand them as every day wear.
Caviar…BARF!
Yup, a slightly larger bar pizza. I laugh when random people share Portnoy Barstool content. We knew Dave from the beginning, when Barstool was a free paper he’d put out on street corners. To see where he is now is mind blowing. If you watch the Barstool documentary you’ll catch a glimpse of me.
Expensive makeup. I buy my products at CVS and they seem to work just fine, in fact I often get compliments on my makeup even though I wear a minimum amount. Same goes for expensive hairspray and face creams.
Airport lounges. We tend to get to the airport not long before our flight. We grab a snack and run to our gate. We have Amex lounge access but have never used it. The couple times we’ve had delays, there hasn’t been a lounge in that terminal.
Agree with you on the Bombas. I have a brand I buy on Amazon that is just as comfortable and a quarter of the price. And they come in multiple sizes which is great as I have small feet. And I tend to lose lots of socks in the wash so I’d be pretty upset if I lost a Bombas sock.
He’s been to my town a few times (I think all were a 8+). I’ll have to watch the documentary.
Me either.
[ opposite of this thread topic, but FYI - I love my Shokz Open Run bone conducting (no idea how that works!) headphones]
I have those too (cheapos from Amazon) but wear cheap headphones over them when I’m outside. Bonus: if I run out of juice, the headphones, also cheap, have bluetooth too. And they make good earmuffs in the cold.
Can I ask what brand? I wear a 9, my 3 girls wear size 6, so we definitely prefer socks with sizes.
We have a well and whole house filter, so we drink our tasty tap water and take it with us in insulated steel bottles, but I always buy a pack of bottled water in the summer so we have a few chilled bottles to give to mail/FedEx/UPS delivery people and any workmen who come to our house on especially hot days.
Leaf blowers.
In the same vein, heavy metal rock music.
Nit going to lie, I prefer having my landscapers here for 15 minutes every week than listening yo my neighbor mow for an hour on the weekend. Adjacent towns have banned gas powered leaf blowers, I think their prices have increased.
We bought an F350 platinum about 6 years ago. It’s not a daily driver by any stretch, but even in suburban Seattle it has its uses. In the past couple of months, we’ve hauled flat pack cabinets from ikea, a quartz countertop, a huge wooden cubby thing to our second home, huge area rug, carpet and padding and assorted trash to the transfer station.
In the other three seasons it hauls our 5th wheel, dirt, mulch, plants, more trash, tree branches, and lord only knows what else.
It replaced an Avalanche which wasn’t capable of towing a 5th wheel. The only vehicle we’ve ever had that handled the same sorts of things was a 1964 Buick station wagon, and to lesser extent, the minivan.
It’s been good, but there’s been a few repair/should be warranty issues that have taken some tenacity to resolve. The latest was a $10K repair to the diesel system that wasn’t covered.
The GVWR was priority in purchasing. That said, it’s huge and I rarely drive it.
I think this warrants some some explanation. Is the problem the sound? Not a useful tool?
I find leafblowers to be a big time saver. I use my electric leaf blower for indoor cleaning as well as outdoor. For example, blowing dust or webs off ceiling areas, rather than climbing on a ladder and dusting surface. It’s been a very useful purchase.
Electric leaf blowers are way less obnoxious than gas powered. We have one, along with an electric chainsaw, hedge trimmer, weedwhacker, air compressor, etc. I get that it’s hard for hired landscapers to use electric but I sure wish they’d make those gas ones quieter and more efficient.
My husband would say that leaf blowers were useless until he bought a backpack one, now it gets the job done in minutes. Is very effective. He wears ear protection, lucky for him.
We have a neighbor who runs that backpack leaf blower for hours I swear. I have no idea what he’s doing!
Our house lots are an acre or a little more. The sound doesn’t bother me.
